Combo of Leca Balls (Wt-900 Gms) and Cinder of Small Size 2-4mm (Wt-900 Gms) for Garden Plants

Detailed description about both of the products in this combo is mentioned below:

Leca Balls :

• Medium sized (08-15mm) approx. 04 Ltr Leca balls will weigh 900 Gms. We wish to clarify that product will be sent on basis of weight, written in product title. We have mentioned approx. volume only for reference of customers, so that they can easily compare our prices with any other market place.  
• Leca stands for 'Lightweight Exfoliated Clay Aggregate'. These balls are suitable for top dressing of soil (mulching), Hydroponic and mixing in potting soil.
• Its porous composition make the potting mix light weight. Due to availability of various pores, it holds sufficient amount of water and drains excess water effectively. It ensures better aeration in roots by providing more oxygen to them. Even after soaking the water, it retains its shape in the potting medium.
• This Leca is most suitable for use in Hydroponic/Aquaponic. We have shown here all the four sizes of Leca which were also submerged in water for experiment. We found out that all the sizes of Leca keep floating on upper surface of water.
• Our Old Brand Name 'GIFTnPLANTS' is now 'DORO KE FYTA'.
• These balls are very light weight and popularly used in terrace gardening and gardening with vertical pots. With use of these balls, potting media becomes very light weight.
• As per our experience, we would recommend to use large size of Leca Balls in the lowest portion of pots, so that it will reduce spillage of potting soil through drainage holes. Moreover, it will provide more roots’ aeration.
• Leca balls help plants in protection from weather adversity(i.e. Winter and Summer).
• Leca Balls are used for thermal insulation in construction industry. Civil engineers and students use these Leca balls for various construction projects as a light weight filling material.

Cinder (2-4mm) :

• Granules size is 2-4mm and this size is highly suitable for Succulents, Cactus, Lithops and other small plants. If you need Cinder for Growing Rose, Adenium and other bigger plants; we recommend to buy Cinder of 2-8mm size for better results (available with us). This cinder is cleaned to remove dust. Hence, there will be not more than 3 % dust. This cinder is produced as a by-product from burning of earthen coal(dug out from mines). This is not a volcanic rock.
• This Cinder is porous and light weight. Most of the plant lovers like this cinder due to its fast drainage capabilities. Proper roots aeration is also possible with use of cinder. Cinder protects plants from root rot and fungal attack. We have observed healthy root development with use of our Cinder.
• Many gardeners appreciate use of cinder with rose, succulents, Cactus, Adenium, Lithops and many more plants. We should use approximately 20% vermicompost with cinder.
• This cinder can be used upto 50 % in potting mix of cactus, Lithops and many more loamy soil loving plants. We can use approximately 20 % cinder with succulents or any other plants also. We have mentioned our opinion about use of cinder in potting mix of different type of plants.
